Save the date!
Sunday 17 February, William Street, Northbridge, 4-9pm.

To kick off the 2019 Lunar New Year (starts Tuesday 4 February – some know it as Chinese New Year), William Street will be closed to cars and open to people (from Roe to Brisbane)!

Pop down to check out our local businesses (there’s always something new!) and enjoy lanterns in the trees, lion dancers, kids stuff and roving entertainment from Newcastle to Monger Streets.

Come say g’day!

Northbridge Common will have a stall too, so come see what we’re up to and say hi or sign up to be a community (free) or business ($50) member, or share your ideas for an even better Northbridge.

Throughout Lunar New Year (4 Feb for about two weeks), take a stroll down William Street to see the beautiful red lanterns add a splash of colour to Northbridge.

And keep an eye out for Year of the Pig decorations identifying participating William Street businesses – pop in and wish them a Happy New Year!

This free community event is presented by the City of Vincent, the City of Perth – and your very own Northbridge Common. Join the Facebook event here. If you’d like to help out on the day, then get in touch here.
